Service Description

This workshop aims to help you understand how your dog or dogs in your care are trying to communicate, as well as give you practical, hands-on training with live coaching throughout the day. It was designed with both dog owners and those working within the pet industry in mind. *This is a human only event, however we will have dogs to work with throughout the day which have been assessed and provided by Avon Dog Services to work with. This training day is an immersive, hands on day! Throughout the day we will have 4 groups of dogs to work hands-on with, covering the following topics - Motivation - Understanding motivation and how to work with it - Stimulus control vs Impulse control - The human end of the lead - Improving handling skills This workshop is held at Twerton Village Hall
